Carbing history

Carbing as part of the Okuyama after market parts manufacturer was established in 1977, specializing in high performance suspension and chassis reinforce parts. Carbing parts have always feature the ultimate in performance combined with high quality that live up to all expectations of customers.

Performance products designed for the vehicle chassis. Products include but are not limited to tower bars, lower arm bars, cooling panels, under panels, tanks, reservoirs, and roll cages.
Background
Carbing is one of two brand names of Okuyama. Carbing refers to products mainly for use on street driven vehicles. DASH is Okuyama's other brand name of parts specifically made for competition motorsports with an emphasis in Rally. Okuyama was started in 1977 by Tadashi Okuyama, as a motorsports team and manufacturer. They specialize in chassis reinforcement parts which include competition roll cages, multitude of chassis braces, rally specific parts, and even custom competition chassis fabrication. All Okuyama parts are designed, and completely fabricated in Japan. R&D test fitment is performed in the US by Carbing staff at the TEIN USA facility in Southern California. This is to ensure proper fitment on USDM vehicles, which are different than JDM models.
